Pinky Point

Perched at the edge of Thevenard, Pinky Point Lookout delivers sweeping views over Murat Bay and the busy Thevenard Port—the second busiest port in South Australia. It’s the perfect place to watch large ships being loaded with grain and minerals from the Far West Coast. Interpretive signage along the lookout shares stories of the port’s significance to the region.

Pinky Point is also the starting point of the Encounter Trail—a scenic coastal path that winds its way to the Ceduna Foreshore. Popular with walkers and cyclists, the trail hugs the shoreline and showcases the beauty of the bay with plenty of stops along the way.

Whether you're soaking in the view, exploring the trail, or enjoying the coastal air, Pinky Point is a must-see spot while visiting Thevenard.
